Every now and then a drink comes along that is so easy to make, yet tastes so heavenly that we can’t trust our taste buds. This is one of those recipes. Almonds and chocolate have always gone together well, but add a little coffee in there and you have PERFECTION. Now, we know it’s January, and the last thing you want to drink is an ice cold beverage, but we couldn’t resist sharing this one. So, put on a sweater, get the fire going, and try this recipe on for size:
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup black coffee (room temperature)
- 1 cup chocolate ice cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 Tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 cup crushed ice
- Cinnamon, for dusting
Directions
1. Brew coffee and allow to sit out while prepping other ingredients
2. Blend ice cream, milk, almond extract, and crushed ice
3. Add in coffee to blender and blend until mixture is smooth
4. Pour 1 tbs of chocolate syrup into the bottom of each tall glass, then pour in blended ingredients into each glass evenly
5. Dust with cinnamon and enjoy!
