The new drink launched by Starbucks to kick of Summer comes as no surprise, seeing as caramel is the number one drink flavor chosen by customers – introducing the new Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino. The drink was released in stores today.
Sandra Stark, VP of blended beverages and refreshments for Starbucks, says “The iconic Starbucks green straw is synonymous with the start of summer, and we are pleased to offer a full line-up of Frappuccino® blended beverages and other cool and refreshing beverages for customers to complement their summer adventures. We’re excited to kick off the season right with the new Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino®, a decadent twist on a classic customer favorite. We also invite customers to create their perfect Frappuccino® blended beverage for all of their summer moments.”
The Caramel Ribbon Crunch is a blend of smooth caramel syrup, roasted coffee, milk, ice, and is topped with dark caramel sauce, whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a crunch caramel sugar topping. You can still customize your drink, of course, with your choose of milks, coffee intensity, and adding or removing syrup flavors and toppings.
Added to the launch of this delightful caramel drink, is a new bottled beverage as well – the Caramelly Intense Frappuccino. The drink is a smooth blend of coffee, milk, and sweet caramel.
To top this grand Summer start off, the beloved Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino is also back starting today. The drink, which has always been a favorite among clientele, features mocha sauce, vanilla syrup, chocolate chips, roasted coffee, milk, ice, and is topped off with whipped cream and chocolate cookie crumbles.
Happy Hour is also returning to Starbucks beginning May 3-12th, from 3-5 pm. All Frappuccino’s are half price during Happy Hour.
