Monday Was Last Day for Area Caribou Coffee Shops

We announced recently that many Caribou Coffee locations would be sadly shutting down. Monday, over under-performing 80 stores had their last day open before closing permanently. The remaining 88 locations, outside of Minnesota, will be converted into Peet’s Coffee and Tea locations. Peet’s Coffee and Tea is owned by the same company that owns Caribou.

The company decided that it would rather focus on its clientele in Minnesota, its home town, and where business for the stores is thriving.
