A more perfect place could not have been selected to host the International Coffee Conference – Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Coffee Exporters Association Board says preparations are already under way. On Tuesday, a joint statement issued by the board’s VP, Emebet Tafesse, said that up to 250 representatives from the national and international coffee sector are expected to attend. Tafesse continued by saying the conference is designed to boost Ethiopia’s status in the coffee market and encourage Ethiopian benefits from its coffee products.
The conference is centered around helping to solve problems related to coffee production and supply in the industry. It will also promote Ethiopia’s plan to secure $1.1 billion US by supplying 220,000 tons of coffee in the world market (Growth and Transformation Plan).
