Dangerous grounds

 

Have you caught an episode of ‘Dangerous Grounds’ before? If not, you still have time – the Travel Channel just announced that it will be bringing the show back for 8 more episodes this year.

The show features Todd Carmichael as he travels the globe in search of the highest grade coffees. He focuses on rare beans, beans that are sought after by top chefs and restaurants they’re so rare. In order to find these beans, Todd visits some exotic and very dangerous locations – cities, mountains, remote villages. He treks through Haiti, Bolivia, Borneo, Madagascar, Cuba, and Vietnam. Along the way he encourages Fair Trade by buying beans straight from the farmers. And as the Travel Channel says ‘there’s an amazing store behind every cup’.
