Stone Creek Coffee Roasters, after 10 months of construction and renovation, has now opened its coffee factory and commercial kitchen. The project to renovate the 124 year old building cost around 1.3 million, and was headed by architect Daniel Burnham.
Inside is a 1500 sq. ft. commercial kitchen, allowing the company to create their own baked goods to pair with their freshly roasted coffee. Executive chef, Aaron Patin, says “Coffee is the inspiration for what we are doing, and the food we are creating will relate back to that, in one way or another. By focusing on seasonal ingredients and local sources, we want to elevate the morning coffee ritual.”
The coffee factory completion also marks the company’s 9th Milwaukee retail coffee bar, and is planning on holding plenty of coffee cuppings and events.
