The days of working from home are not going anywhere, anytime soon. As we journey to recover from the pandemic, a lot of offices have decided to continue working from home for the safety and caution of their staff. Like many other people, I am spending a lot of time in my home office. Although I love no longer commuting in traffic to an office, I definitely miss coffee breaks with co-workers and access to endless free coffee and espresso. You really don’t know what you have until it’s gone!
Since I’ll be spending my workdays at home for the foreseeable future, I decided it was time to step up my coffee game. I am not a morning person, so I wanted a fast, fuss-free caffeine routine that I wouldn’t get bored of. After doing some research online, talking to friends and family members, and comparing prices, I decided that a Keurig would be the best option for me.
In addition to an easy-to-use machine, I wanted to be able to take advantage of high-quality coffee. In my research, I came across Angelino’s, a multi-generational coffee company that specializes in K-Cups. Their coffee is so delicious that it makes me beyond excited to make coffee at home every day.
Here are the top 5 reasons why I think it’s worth every penny investing in a Keurig if you’re working from home:
- It’s so easy to order K-Cups online.
- It’s faster than making a traditional pot of coffee. (Literally takes 1 minute or less)
- There’s (almost) no clean up needed.
- You can make café-worthy drinks without leaving the comfort of your home.
- It’s way cheaper than going to a coffee shop everyday.

Like just about everything else these days, K-Cups are readily available online – so you can get fresh coffee pods delivered to your doorstep in just a few clicks. My favorite place to order K-Cups from online is Angelino’s because I never have to worry about running out. Their auto-delivery service makes it easy for me to continuously receive new batches how often I want. The convenience is truly unmatched.
Plus, I love that I’m no longer limited to the K-Cup selection at my grocery store. Their vast variety of flavored coffee options, including fun seasonal varieties, has got to be one of my favorite things about my experience with them.

Forget about boiling water or setting up a percolator, drip coffee maker, or French press. Switch to a Keurig and all you have to do is pop in a K-Cup. You’ll have a fresh cup of coffee at the touch of a button in a matter of moments! My Keurig model has a relatively large water reservoir – I usually fill it up every Sunday night, and it holds enough for all of my caffeine needs for the work week. Last but not least, I love that I don’t have to deal with grinding coffee beans or measuring perfect spoonfuls of coffee grounds… I can count on every K-Cup to produce a perfect cup of joe, every time.

There’s (almost) no clean-up needed.
Before I switched to a Keurig, I used a French press when I made coffee at home – and every time I cleaned it, my sink and countertop would inevitably end up covered in coffee grounds. Though I didn’t mind the smell, it was a nightmare to clean up, and one part of my daily routine I could really live without. Before I was a French press user, I had a standard drip coffee maker that needed a new paper filter for each brew – that was just a different kind of mess to clean up.
When I switched to a Keurig coffee machine, it completely changed my caffeine (and clean up!) routine. Instead of cleaning up a coffee mess every time I want a cup, I do a weekly wipe down instead. When it’s time to refill the water reservoir on Sunday night, I use a soapy paper towel to wipe down the whole machine and then give the reservoir a good rinse – that’s it. When it’s time to brew, the last used K-Cup goes right into the trash, so I have virtually zero clean-up to do on a daily basis. Well, other than loading my used coffee mug into the dishwasher!

K-Cups can brew so much more than just regular coffee. For example, Angelino’s makes coffee pods that brew cappuccino-inspired beverages (I’m currently addicted to their French Vanilla Cappuccino pods), hot cocoa, and all kinds of tea.
After my regular morning cup of coffee, I like to break up the afternoon with a specialty beverage. It’s all about finding joy in the little things, right? So, after lunch every day, I brew an Angelino’s K-Cup of Bombay Chai tea, then use a handheld frothing wand to create warm, foamy milk. I use this to top off my tea latte, along with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and a squeeze of honey. I’m still refining my latte art skills, but I’m sure I’ll get there eventually

It’s way cheaper than going to a coffee shop every day.
Frequent trips to the coffee shop can take a serious toll on your wallet – unfortunately, I learned that lesson the hard way. Making coffee at home costs mere pennies… or, if you’re using Angelino’s K-Cups, around thirty-nine cents a cup. Even though the Keurig itself was a somewhat hefty investment, I drink at least two cups of coffee a day – so I have a feeling my coffee machine will be paying for itself in a matter of months. (Especially if I’m still working at home!)
Making coffee at home has never been so easy. Once you settle on the Keurig model that’s right for you, I highly recommend ordering an Angelino’s variety pack when you’re ready to start brewing. Order it online, and you’ll get to try a taste of their most popular coffee blends – my personal favorites are the Donut Shop blend and Caramel Crème, both with a splash of almond milk.
