In the spring on 2013, Seattle’s Best, a division of Starbucks Corp., will be opening 15 drive-thru locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. 14 of the stores will be company owned and run, while 1 will be a franchise location. The expansion is expected to 150 new full time and part time jobs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The locations will offer the Seattle’s Best coffee menu, plus dessert-inspired specialty coffee drinks and food items. All for the cost of $5.
Frank Sica, Seattle’s Best VP and general manager says that the locations will offer coffee and food items to customers who don’t have time to wait in a cafe. He states We’re offering a fast, friendly and delicious coffee experience that fits the lives of Dallas-area commuters.”
Since 1970, Seattle’s Best has been roasting premium coffee, and currently roasts about 20 million pounds per year.
